I have always been a fan of essential oils. I bought my first (Rosewood) as a teenager and I’ve been using essential oils for aromatherapy ever since. Today I like to fragrance my massage studio with a blend of essential oils before every treatment. Inhaling the essential oils helps to promote a feeling of relaxation and well being even before the massage has begun. Working with aromatherapy massage oil takes this one step further. Now you can benefit from the oils not only by inhalation but also by absorption through the surface of the skin.
My signature aromatherapy massage oil contains a synergistic blend of massage oils and essential oils. It is formulated to help nourish the skin, relax the body and calm the mind. Made from 100% pure and natural oil. No preservatives, chemicals or dispersants. Created for me by a trusted aromatherapy company in Surrey.
The fragrance has clean, fresh and floral top notes with peppery, herbaceous and woody undertones. It’s well balanced and wonderfully aromatic.
So what’s in it?
Sweet Almond Oil – On of the most popular massage oils, known for its ability to help soften, nourish and revitalise the skin. Naturally rich in vitamin E, a potent antioxidant. Vitamin E can help to prevent and also reverse signs of ageing. Being mild and hypoallergenic, Sweet Almond Oil moisturises the skin without causing irritation.
Jojoba Oil – With a similar chemical composition to the skin’s natural sebum, Jojoba oil has excellent skin nourishing and moisturising qualities.
Lavender Essential Oil – The most widely used essential oil in the world, and for very good reasons. The oil not only smells great but has a multitude of beneficial qualities. Its traditionally known as a sleep aid due to its soothing, balancing and calming aroma. Many believe it induces relaxation by counter-acting anxiety and emotional stress.
Sandalwood Essential Oil – Can help to create not only a feeling of relaxation but also bring about a state of calm awareness and mental clarity. It also has the potential to lower blood pressure.
Frankincense Essential Oil – A grounding and calming oil, it is used to reduce anxiety, anger and stress. Both Frankincense and Lavender oil can help to heal wounds and fade scars when applied to the skin.
Let me know in advance if you’d like to try my signature aromatherapy massage oil at your next appointment. I can then fragrance the room with a complimentary blend of essential oils before your arrival to further enhance the experience.
I will be adding more aromatherapy massage oils soon. If you have any suggestions or requests, I’d love to hear from you!
